Giving Tree Early Learning Academy came to life in an effort to provide affordable, quality childcare. Its founder, Megan Grundahl, comes with an extensive background in early childhood education. She cares for each child as if they were her own. She assures that each child receives nutritious, healthy meals and snacks and that the classroom staff receives all of the materials and tools necessary to provide the education and support for these children to develop and thrive in the early years of life.
Our mission is to provide a stimulating and nurturing environment by demonstrating love and respect to each child in our care. Giving Tree ELA provides all children with diverse and challenging opportunities to become enthusiastic students. We recognize that all children develop and learn at different rates and in different ways. Therefore, we work with each child as a unique individual and help him/her become enriched and caring individuals as well as lifelong learners.
Our vision is to watch children grow and thrive as we provide them with an environment and the guidance they require to succeed.
Our vision is to acquire the most respectful and caring staff members in the area. Teachers who continue to further their education and communicate thoroughly with parents who truly understand and appreciate the dedication and love that it takes to assist in the care of their children on a daily basis.
Hours of Operation
Giving Tree will be open daily from 6:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. Children are permitted to attend Giving Tree for 10 hours per day and cannot extend that 10-hour limit without authorization from the administration.
A tour of the Academy is provided to allow parents and children to get a sense of the facility and daily routine at Giving Tree. This tour will be conducted by a member of the administration. In addition to viewing the facility and programs offered, parents will be given information regarding curriculum and are encouraged to meet and interact with the classroom teachers.
If a family decides to join Giving Tree, an enrollment folder will be provided. This folder will contain Teacher Biographies, classroom pictures, and a list of necessary classroom supplies. This folder will also contain the following forms that need to be completed and returned prior to your child’s first day of attendance:
- Enrollment & Health History
- Family Contract
- Child Health Report
- Immunization Record
- Intake Form for Children Under 2 Years
*Please note that your child’s Health Report must be completed and signed by the physician no later than 90 days after the first day of attendance.
